About me:
Peter Smith is a sustainability and change leader in the UK sports sector. He has worked with Bristol Sport since 2009, initially in commercial partnerships and player recruitment before leading the £45m redevelopment of Ashton Gate Stadium. He later became Head of Change and Sustainability, developing the organisation’s sustainability strategy and guiding its clubs’ commitment to the UN Sports for Climate Action Framework and Race to Zero targets. His work focuses on embedding environmental sustainability in professional sport and using sport as a platform to accelerate climate action and behavioural change.
